ESPO framework award for Safety Smart

Safety Smart’s consultancy team has been awarded a position on ESPO framework 664-17 for Consultancy Services to supply Health & Safety services. 

ESPO is a customer-focused, public-sector owned professional buying organisation that provides the public sector with procurement solutions to cut costs, reduce tendering times and receive the best possible value. Their Consultancy Services framework is designed to create a simple and efficient solution for those looking to procure trustworthy advice from pre-approved suppliers. 

The Framework is compliant with the UK and EU Public Contract Regulations and is available to all public-sector bodies. including schools and academies, local authorities, police and emergency services, NHS bodies and local and central government. 

Safety Smart’s Managing Director, Anthony Tetlow, commented,

“We are really happy to be awarded a position on this prestigious framework, particularly as establishing a more diversified public sector offering is very much on our agenda. We look forward to a successful partnership with ESPO over the next two years and hopefully beyond.”

ESPO is a public sector owned professional buying organisation established in 1981. It is jointly owned by its six member authorities: Leicestershire County Council, Lincolnshire County Council, Cambridgeshire County Council, Norfolk County Council, Warwickshire County Council, and Peterborough City Council. 

The framework began on 18th April and runs until to 17th April 2019, with an option to extend for a further two years.
