Following an incredibly busy and successful twelve months, Safety Smart is delighted to welcome our latest recruit on board. Health and Safety Consultant, Kassam Mahmood joined the team on 5th October and his role will include carrying out site audits and inspections, assisting clients in achieving accreditations such as Chas and Safecontractor and working alongside Managing Director, Anthony Tetlow in maintaining robust Health and Safety Management Systems for our clients.

Kassam’s background is in electrical engineering, specifically Building Management Systems. A qualified and experienced electrician himself, Kassam decided to make the move towards a career in Health and Safety some years ago.

Commenting on his new role Kassam said:

“Safety Smart match my ambitions as a Health and Safety professional and have many of the same values that I hold. I am dedicated to making the working environment as safe as possible and providing hard working people a comfortable retirement. I am very happy with my appointment at Safety Smart Ltd and believe that it is an ideal environment for me to grow and develop my skillset further”.

Commenting on Kassam’s appointment, Managing Director, Anthony Tetlow said:

“We are really pleased that Kassam has joined us. His trade background is a great strength and his enthusiasm for Health and Safety is fabulous. Safety Smart is growing quickly and Kassam’s role is going to be essential if we are to drive our business forward as planned over the next twelve months and beyond”.
