25th September 2015 Posted in Blogs

This year’s changes to CDM regulations have been a huge deal as all within the construction industry are aware. As such, Safety Smart were appointed by Cordant Technical to support in implementing the changes and ensuring the smooth running of a large, UK-wide roll out scheme of their recruitment office refurbishments.

Cordant were Principal Designer and Principal Contractor on all projects and Safety Smart were instructed to assist with their health and safety requirements. This included production of statutory documentation and site audits across approximately 15 projects during 2015.

Cordant Technical specialise in hard Facilities Management, construction management and compliance management. They provide clients with integrated services across the lifecycle of any property; from construction project management, mechanical and electrical installations and on-going maintenance to ensuring a property’s systems and infrastructure are fully compliant with current legislative and regulatory standards.

Anthony Tetlow, Managing Director commented, ‘Planning and implementing a nationwide scheme of this scale is no mean feat. We’re delighted to have had the opportunity to work collaboratively with a company like Cordant from planning to completion. We look forward to the challenges and rewards that our ongoing working relationship may bring’.
